Some background about paragliding hobby:
I started to paraglide in Macedonia in 1994. The accident
happened when I had been paragliding for four years. I was
descending and the paraglide collapsed at such a low altitude
that I could not open it in time. I hit the ground and broke
one of the vertebrae in my thorax. I continued flying the
following year with a chair designed by Ari Rahikainen. It
was working well, but my demands for the chair grew so high
that I started developing it so that it would be suitable
and easy to travel with, put together and that I could use
it independently. I fly annually about 50 hours. Summer 2007
I designed and built a chair that enables a normal positioning
of the reserve into the harness and is both light and easy
to carry. Now it is almost a perfect device for someone who
cannot start with her or his own feet. Just connect the harness
with the chair and into the sky you fly!
